Today I got an amazing lens Canon 24-70mm f2.8 which I have been drooling over for quiet a while!
These are just simple shots I grabbed with it as soon as it got attached to my Markie… <3 I can photograph at Yagoot day and night!!! LOVE THAT PLACE

And here is my funky kitty cat, who apparently can not wait to eat my lens.. :)))

Cincinnati Children Photographer | New baby…baby lens that is!
August 14, 2010I confess- I have been keeping something so very magical and special from you guys!
About a month ago I had a chance to capture some amazing photographs of three girls running loose!
It was as much fun as it was challenging at times. Good thing I had moms : Amy and Elena, helping me. We’ve spent good three hours on one of my friend’s parents property! They’ve got such a pretty land and we only had a chance to discover some parts of it! Another friend let us borrow baby ducklings- but those pictures are going to be part II, or even III- I haven’t decided yet- as there are just SO many cute pictures and I want to show them ALL!!!! :))) I am going to hide all the pictures in this post and in order to see them all you will need to do is click on the title of this blog post- but be aware- there are REALLY a lot of them and it will take a while to load them all. I can promise though it is well worth the wait! :) Special Thanks goes to Ryan’s Parents for letting us run around their property and Julie for borrowing us her baby ducklings and also to moms for being willing to chase me and kids around! I feel like we got some really special pictures that day!

Today was just something, guys! Not just any day, but a REAL DAY OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS!
First, today’s photoshoot, Elena’s photoshoot. We have been getting ready for it for so many days, talking every little detail and Elena planned every little detail of her every outfit as well and OH MY GOD did she do a great job? I mean really…. I showed up at her place today and was just blown away but all the gorgeous outfits and accessories to go with every one of them! She had her hair done and we tried to book a make up artist for her but ended up not using one - she did her makeup herself and what an amazing job she did- she looked super! As I was setting her room up for photoshoot, I discovered that my new and beloved Mark 5D II is unresponsive in Manual mode, and only works in sloppy boring Auto mode! I mean NONE of the buttons worked: ISO, white balance, menu- nothing worked! To say that I freaked out is to say nothing! Yes I had my old Rebel with me but I discovered all the batteries were dead on it as well as I checked my bag THAT same morning and everything worked just fine! I spent an hour trying to work something out when by the end of it Canon’s tech support just plain told me- you have to send your camera in for service! I was ready to cry. Oh well…. Then. My lovely dear friend Svetlana told me her hubby is on his way home from work, earlier and I could swing by to borrow her camera body for photoshoot downtown we were planning that evening. But her battery is dead, so she told me to wait at least an hour before I get it, so I did……
On our way there we hit some major traffic. It took us an hour to get there. We got the camera, Svetlana was home from work by then and we were on our way to a new location- the farm. As we got out of the car I discovered to my HUGE amazement that my Mark IS Working! AGAIAN, I mean I was SCREAMING to Elena- come on, get out of the car, we got to shoot now it IS working!!!!!!!!!! :))) It has been working all night. I still will be shipping it out to service center later after my trip to Florida this weekend to check it out. Just in case. The location I was thinking about at the US bank Arena was closed down and remodeled to a lousy place that just messed up Elena’s hair. So some ideas that we were planning to do we will have to re-do later this month. I was so bummed. But then I got home ( after spending two hours in the company of Elena and her mom who cooked us a late… very late dinner, pss, don’t tell anyone!!!) and downloaded all the images we’ve got and you know what- they are actually stunning! :))) After all- it was just a day that meant to happen exactly this way! :))) And I am so grateful for it. And weather, and my friends and just the way it all plays out like this- the Universe keeps reminding us to appreciate what we have and enjoy it. Setting up goals, but using tools available to us now and doing our best with what we got! :)))
Could not help but share one…
She is SO CUTE!

May 14, 2009Oh too funny! Had to share!!! LOL….
Gabriella put Lena’s shoes on while we were too busy taking pictures for my boudoir portfolio!

Online {FINALLY}
May 14, 2009OK, I confess, I have had modem laying around for three days now and only today I finally got some time to set it all up. If not for my trusty BlackBerry - I probably would feel completely left out!!! :)) But I have been unpacking and… ok, so I went to watch a hockey game yesterday with friends- it was very spontaneous { as usually it is with me} - my friend Elena had free tickets which she got from a friend of a friend, and beer was only $1- how could I say NO?! It was really fun game to watch - and my first LIVE hockey game. I love hockey but usually was watching it on TV. Tomorrow is play offs and I am debating on either I should go or politely say no and just keep unpacking and editing- cause there is just so much to do!!!!!!And never enough time…Let’s not count that I got completely hooked on www.goodreads.com and have been reading like crazy lately! :)) That is not helping the matter…
But fear not- somehow I will manage to share!!! A LOT is going on!!! Not only I’ve got tons of pictures to share from my vacation, including a boudoir photosession with lovely Elena Olllick, Jen’s and Jonathan’s wedding coming up and I also just got connected with a lovely bride Sandy- fun!!! I am a busy little birdie… speaking of birdies- here is an image of one…

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week!!! Weekend is just a DAY away!!! Yay!
