When Katie and Nate first met they both were seeing someone else. They were at a party and spent majority of the evening talking to each other. Katie recalls that Nate was so funny and cute. About a month after Katie received a very surprising phone call at work. It was Nate asking if she remembered him and asking her out. He explained that he was no longer in a relationship and to his huge surprise she was no longer either. And so two of them begun their 7 year old journey together. That day Katie hang up the phone and I was jumping with excitement that the most cutest guy she have ever seen just asked her to ride on his motorcycle!!!! Her mom and sister both witnessed that as they happened to be at the office that day with Katie. Only few years later Nate was able to confess that he was parked just a few blocks away from her office. He was riding his bike with a friend and finally got the courage to pick up a phone and call her. Their 7 years together have been ONE big LOVE STORY with interesting twists. I can confess that in a short time that I know these two, they had to move the date of their wedding due to the double booking of the venue on the same day. I mean, seriously? Doesn’t it only happens in a movies like Bride Wars???? If not for some thief getting into Nate’s truck one nigh and stealing Katie’s engagement ring few years ago, they both would be already married, but then I would never get a chance to photograph their wedding!
I am so looking forward to their wedding day! I know it is going to be so adorable and beautiful!
When Katie told me she is bringing lots of props, I knew it is going to be a PERFECT love story photoshoot! We went to this amazing little town not far from where they live and where they would like to move eventually- it is SO cute and filled with little antique stores!!! I am dying to go back there for some shopping! At the end of their Love Story photoshoot we went to the park where Nate proposed to Katie. It was one of the most gorgeous settings I’ve ever seen. It is a good hour drive for me, but it was well worth it!!!! Enjoy some of my favorites images!
