April 26, 2010Rainy Weekend | Amazing Pictures
April 26, 2010So, hands down- this past weekend was super crazy for me! And super RAINY!!! But still - amazingly fun! I love overcast days- as long as it is not raining! The light is always so dramatic and makes pictures look so out of this world gorgeous! On Saturday I had a privilege to second- shoot a Wedding of Bethany and Tom for Shannon Burns with Imaged by Shannon. It was beautiful day but of course it had to rain! We made the best out of it! Guys looked so gorgeous! Here are some previews from that wedding! Aren’t Bethany and Tom a fabulous looking couple? Congrats to you and your family!
On Sunday we had scheduled a photoshoot with girls from Salon Neveah. It rained almost non stop- but girls were troopers and played along with me and cold rainy weather! We were able to capture some pretty amazing shots! When you got a group this fabulous and fun- not even a rainy day can ruin photoshoot!

Love Story | E•Session| Tracy+Jeff
April 23, 2010Going back to my very first official {paid} wedding- it is hard to imagine that everything from there on led me to the day I was shooting Tracy and Jeff’s Love Story! When Tracy told me that she had her mind and heart set on me and that was the easiest part of planning a wedding- my heart melted! Isn’t it nice to know that something so stressful as choosing a person who you are going to trust with your wedding pictures was an easy process for someone?
Tray called me probably few weeks after she got engaged. She had no clue just exactly when her wedding is going to be and few times we were even planning out of town wedding, she just knew that she wants ME! :))) And I am sure that’s exactly how Jeff feels about her! When you see these two you know that both are dancing to their own tune and don’t care about the rest of the world! The way Jeff looks at her, the way she holds his hand…I can not wait to photograph their wedding- looks like it is going to be SO much fun! {there are BIKES involved!!!!! April PUG Meeting | Shadow
April 23, 2010Yesterday we had so much fun at our monthly PUG Meeting organized by Nathan Peel with Fyrefly Photography. Last night he challenged us to go outside for about 30 minutes and shoot some pictures, outside of our usual range. He came up with this idea of giving us a word, that would help us concentrate on one single idea. I think I got really challenging word- SHADOW! It was hard to walk around and just LOOK for shadows, not people, poses, emotions, etc., but to look for light and implement it in the shot! I think I totally pooped my assignment! What was even more fun is to use David’s Nikon Lens, tat fits Canon- it is 50mm f1.8 FULLY manual!!!! The lens is CREaMY! I loved it! Here are some of my faves from last night!

The Park | Pretty Girls | Long Awated Post
April 21, 2010I can not even stress enough how overdue I am to show these pictures! They were taken back in March and I kept telling my mom- soon, very soon, I’ll get to them! Well, no more excuses! Belly Love | Lindsey+Curt
April 20, 2010B E L L I E S !!!!!!! I wish I could do Maternity Sessions more often. So many of us { pregnant girls} do not feel…eh.. how should I say it- well we do not want to be photographed for the nine months on, right? We Feel like elephants, monkeys, penguins, goose and just unattractive! { I felt all off the above at the same time } I remember to turn away and try to run and hide at the one sight of camera pointed in my direction!!!! But LADIES!!!!!! As I faced with the beauty of a pregnant girl each time I get to photograph her- it is my challenge to prove to the entire world { AND YOU} just how truly beautiful, amazing, gorgeous you ARE!
Meet Lindsey and her husband Curt! Now I admit I was secretly jealous the entire session I did not look so sexy and so NOT pregnant when I was carrying my child! Her gorgeous blue eyes are true reflection of the blue sky on a clear spring day- and that’s exactly what we’ve had- wonderful clear blue sky and blossomed trees everywhere at the Eden Park which we choose as our location! I hope these images will be a proof to other pregnant girls out there and also a reminder that we do not get to be like that too often- so shouldn’t we cherish those precious nine months and adore our enormously big but oh so wonderfully cute bellies that get to be a “home” for our babies???? :))

April 14, 2010While preparing this post I was reading Laura and Rory’s love story and had this : “OMG, I can not believe this…” moment! Just happens that Rory proposed to Laura while it was slightly raining! And it happened to rain just so slightly on the day their photosession was scheduled! I’ve blogged earlier about their “Kiss Under The Rain” picture, but I had no idea how truly meaningful that shot was!!! And I got to say- I loved this overcast day and such dramatic lighting- it was changing every second!!!! Loved it! Wouldn’t have it any other way!

What’s been cooking tonight???
April 12, 2010I’ve been so into cooking lately! All of a sudden whatever food is served out at the restaurants doesn’t excite me anymore! Well maybe I still crave sushi and P F Chang’s - those two will be hard to give up! But there is just nothing like a home cooked meal shared with loved ones at the quiet coziness of your home…
Tonight I’ve been cooking in my digital “kitchen”…. I purchased this wonderful Formula One Photopshop Actions right before I went to bed…well before I was going to bed…Little did I know that this set of actions is kicking you into creativity mode like no other… So, two hours later I am finally going to bed! I know there is someone out there who is waiting for whatever I have been cooking tonight…

E-session | Love Story | Mary+Ryan
April 12, 2010Tonight I got a chance to meet with yet another gorgeous wonderful couple! Lighting was so spectacular and we were able to spot some neat colorful places! I also tried some new techniques today which I will show you guys a little later! Meet Mary and Ryan! They were totally game with whatever I wanted them to do- I loved it! And when I saw Mary’s wedding shoes I about to lost it from excitement! Bright! Pink! Totally HER!!!!! I can not wait to photograph them in November!!!! Enjoy this preview from tonight!
